Basis for Calculations

This guide applied to all standard worm gears.  The load ratings are for loads applied one shaft diameter from the housing face, with the shaft RPM as shown in the table at right.  For double extended input shafts, the load rating is for each end.  Consult Cleveland Gear for load capacities at other RPM's.
